What is one trend you see in adult education?
How short of an attention span gen Z has compared to gen Y & X.

What implications will these trends have for the way you will instruct over the coming years?
I think that just making sure that I am prepared to keep a class engaged, and interested more then ever will be very important. How will each point of the lesson be relatable and intriguing to the leaner?

What will you need to do to prepare for such trends?
To prepare for such a trend in this generation I think that I need to put myself in their shoes. This has been hard for me in the past but I think thinking about how this younger generation of students have grown up with technology, screens, playing games on tablets as children and having more screen time than ever can be to my benefit. Fashion is all about technology and social media these days. Although I teach a computer software class there are definitely ways I can integrate “screen time fun” into my lessons to make things more interesting and bring a new lens to the lesson plans.
